How to write affirmations?

Question:
Should self recorded affirations be listened to in first person noun or second person noun?

What kind of affirmations work best? the ones that states "I am fine" to yourself or "You are fine"? Shold I be speaking as a first person or second person? Like some other person telling me?

Need advise on how to create Affirmation sentences for my listening.I got an iPod recently and I want to listen to affirmations before I sleep and an in between the day.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Answers:
First person should be best. Second person sounds like somebody is telling you what to do and raises your hackles.

Think of a trait you want to be and say that you already have it. For instance, "I can wait to get what I need", or "I can be attractive to other people" or something like that. Always make it something that is possible.

I like the idea of using the I-pod. They have pillows with speakers in them so you can listen while asleep. That is quite effective.

Yes! I agree with freelancenut! If the affrimation are to and about you. It should be stated in first person (I am fine) Good luck with your affrimation, I do them too, but I make a list of them to read to myself. Hugs! Von!
