This depends on where you live. I am an adult with Asperger Syndrome and face the same dilemma as you do. I would suggest posting your question in travel, as I got better results there in terms of answers. If people know where you live, they are more apt to know where to locate help for you. To best answer your question, there is a very helpful newsletter for those on the high-functioning autism spectrum and Asperger Syndrome. They also have a networking directory.
