Take a class in Anger Management at your local community college. You will learn a lot about yourself as well as how to control your anger. Anger is very stressful and is not good for you physically as well as for the people you direct your anger at.
Sports. Especially contact sport. Boxing, wrestling, rugby....
In the summer, you can take a walk, or a swim. Cool off with a smoothie! There are many ways too.
Go to an empty park or something and scream! Find something to break, and put on safety goggles and break it! Chopping wood is great for that!
It sound cliche, but counting does work. Close your eyes, count till you aren't angry any more. It might take a couple hundred.
Also, try thinking about WHY you are angry. A lot of anger comes from jealousy and self importance. Sometimes if you pinpoint why you are angry you can calm down and realize that it isn't that important.
Try distracting yourself, play a violent but easy video game.
play a violent video game. something like Manhunt or bloodrayne. a game where you chop everyone to pieces. it will direct your anger toward the game charaters and eventually it will fade into sheer amusement.
exersize
Run run run and go someplace where nobody will hear you scream!
pop like 3 xanax
First off, remember my mantra:
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS TO REMAIN CALM.
WE DO THIS BY TAKING IN A DEEP BREATH &
EXHALING "OHMMMMMMMMMM"
Sounds cooky, but works like a charm. Also, working out or listening to really loud music helps too! :)
Good luck!
go yell in a room along to your hearts content.
punch into a pool of water until you are tired.
jump up and down until your light headed.
mediation.
have sex.
go punch something
Get a hot tub a relax
For that very reason I bought myself a punching bag & some gloves - know what? It works AND it keeps me from punching out the people who irritate me...
count to 10 while breathing slowly.
Feel a tickle in your body and it will make you laugh
scream as loud as you can
Go for a brisk walk and do some breathing exercises. Try not to be upset about things that are beyond your control. Spend some time with some positive people and learn how to be at peace with yourself as well. Good luck and be well, hon.
Have a Big hit from the b*ng! Have some sex! Go for a jog....now you shouldnt have any energy left to be angry. LOL Good luck with that!
When I get heated my husband will make me go in the basement and lock me in, so him or my kids don't have to hear my bullshit, and I throw **** around and take my aggretion out on the basement basically. When I'm done my husband usually knows, and will let me out or I'll go out the other door to the out side an ring the doorbell. It's a good way to get htings off your mind at least for me.
Take a anger managment class and masturbate
I take it banging your head against the wall does not work any longer? I like using violent video games, like hitman Blood Money (just got that one yesterday) or any game where you get to act out agressions in a safe environment. Going to an online game where you get to kill other characters run by people (auto assault and World of Warcraft) can be helpful but there is only so much good that will do ya because they might win defeating the purpose.
