sleep problem with zoloft?

Question:
anyone take zoloft and can't get to sleep? any hints?

Answers:
my doctor prescribed ambien also. talk to your doctor about ambien.

Other Answers:
Took it, couldn't sleep, got off it and onto Paxil and then Celexa. No problems with Celexa for six years. Some Antidepressants cause insomnia - tell your doc and he will change the drug. No sleep = no fun!

Good luck.

All medications can have side effects. I am not on Zoloft, but still have problems with not being able to sleep. I read a book at night to help me fall asleep, and I get some great reading in.

If books are not your thing, try a magazine or newspaper that you would enjoy looking at. Believe me, it helps and you aren't adding more medications to your list.

i do take zoloft 100mg and now i think of it ya sometimes i do at night but i make my self go to sleep. speak to your dr about it and see if he can give you something to help you sleep at night. try to lie in bed and read a book or magazine with the lights dime. that way you start to feel relaxed and doze off I too have found that taking Zoloft at night helps me sleep. I also take 300 mcg of Melatonin { otc dietary supplement} and if I am really needing sleep, I drink a cup of catnip tea.
