I need a support group for head trauma. My boyfriend was severely hurt in a auto accident and I need help?
Question:
Answers:
Call your local hospitals and ask if they have any support groups that will meet your needs and the needs of your boyfriend. If they themselves don't have any, ask them if they know of any in your area. Explain to them as much as you can, so that they fully know why you need support.
If that fails, you could also try your local Mental Health Organization or Clinic. They may be able to provide you with the info you desire.
If that doesn't work, call or visit your local churches. They may be able to provide some helpful tips for you and your boyfriend and may even be able to offer the two of you some advice.
Or you could ask his family doctor or yours. Don't give up! I am sure that someone out there could help you and your boyfriend cope and recover from this traumatic accident.
Good luck and I hope I was some what helpful!

I am sorry, but I live in Toronto ON. Can. I would suggest to contact the local YM/YWCA as most have access to support groups. Take care.
