What manner of death is your greatest fear?

Question:
Not trying to be morbid, but, by what circumstance of death are you most afraid of?

Mine is suffocating or drowning, or getting pinned under something. I'm not claustraphobic or anything. Just afraid of the feeling of being trapped. Include water, and I'm toast! I could NEVER be in the Navy.

What about you, what freaks you out?

Answers:
Drowning or any other form of suffocation. It even freaks me out to drink a glass of water too long without taking a breath, or not come up often enough when I'm swimming or stuff. I used to be on a swim team, and our coach would sometimes have a try to swim the full length of the pool without taking a breath, and I used to hate that one.

Other Answers:
planes. falling.

plane crash in the middle of the ocean where i get eaten by sharks, or drowned by a giant squid and then eaten. killed by another person,i wouldn't mind being taken out my nature half as much.-

Falling, drowning, or suffocation.

ditto

Anything with lots of pain, especially fire. falling. or drowning or suffocation. falling cause I'm horribly scared of heights. drowning/suffocation cause i fear the thought of not being able to breathe. knowing that it'll take a few minutes to die.

when i die, i want to be shot. so that i know i'm dying. i want to know that feeling. i dreamed it once.

i do not fear death - death is my friend - my only friend - in the end. water-drawning for sure.

being buried alive! EEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

i have been shot through the head 40 cal hollow point just below & to side of nose bullet exited just to side of spinal column top of neck from gun shot i had 2 strokes & died for few minutes . .. was no tunnel of light infact was nothing but black. the worst part was choking on all the blood litterally drowning in my own blood but to be honest the type of death i fear most is dying from old age.. better to burn out than fade away

Car accidents scare the hell out of me. I'm extremely paranoid. People die that way all the time when they least expect it. Anytime you step into a vehicle you never know.

Contemplating being part of a chunk of twisted metal, potential explosives, and sharp glass just doesn't make me happy at all.
