I had that prob at times, 2 years ago. I occassionally had a similar but different prob in San Francisco.
Yes I have, it is the weirdest feeling but I have had them on several ocasions and you just feel like you have to break out of your body! I had panic attacks for a while after a family tragedy. I saw my doctor and she put me on Paxil. It worked very well. I was able to focus better.
ive had panic attacks for the past 4 years. i mostly have them when my anti-depresaants are starting to wear off. and when i do have one, i normally take a Xanax for it.
best thing to do is see a doctor and dont hide anything! be honest and open about what your going thru and experiencing
Yes, and the doctor can give you medication for it. It sounds like a great deal of stress for you and the medicine will help with the stress as well. Won't calm your husband down unless he takes something too. The only time that I had a panic attack was when my best friend killed himself in his room. I went over to his house about a month later and went to his room and when I got to the door of his room, I had a panic attack. My heart started beating very fast, I couldn't breath, and I just busted down crying! I had to step back and calm down. When I went into his room, I started getting the feelings again, but stuck them out. It was soo hard and VERY freaky.
I have them often! In your mind, find a happy place. It takes a lot but think about something that makes you happy and calm. When you feel one coming on, find that place. Your doctor might be able to give you a medication that will help. Depends on whether you want to take medication or not. I choose not to. If they get to bad and I can't get them under control (does happen, though not often) I go to the doctor and get something.
Its okay this happends to me atleast once a yea I will explain what happends.
I am afraid to throw up ik what your thinking everyone hates throwing up but i have like a fear of it so when i feel i am going to throw up i get all sweaty and i hold my neck and run around the room un controlably eventually i calm down but it is scary. i dont know how to slove it but maybe knowing your not alone will help a little but good luck to you my girl
Xanax is great- but addictive. try biofeedback first and self relaxation exercises. check out for some relaxation tips ( mainly for ADHD but for anxiety too)
