How long does it take to become a Psychiatrist?

Question:

What educational steps (after Pre-Med in a BA) are necessary to become a psychiatrist. About how many years does this take?
What about residency?
Has anyone heard of a Naturopathic Psychiatrist??

4 years medical school
4 years of residency (but at this time you get paid and you feel like a real doctor even if you need to check with your supervisor about everything!

4 years in pre-med. 3 years in med school. 1-2 years of additional schooling in psychiatry and at least a year's residency. it takez so long that you'll go mental before u get there
