When is a person considered stupid?
Question:
Answers:
When they answer questions like me!
I think being stupid is just an expresion that is used for any person that at the moment didnt take any time to think of the question he made or of the answer.
Or it could also be a person that lacks the capacity to intelegently evualuate situations because of his childhood or because of some hard punch to his head.

When they give themselves permission to believe that the idiot who told them they are stupid was actually correct. Stupid is just one of many words that can be used to describe actions that may have led to unwarranted or poor consequences and life decisions. The key is learning from those and not repeating them. But when you start to believe that you are stupid then the dumbest part of that feeling is the fact that you allowed yourself to believe it.
Quite often one hears someone calling another stupid.
What they are actually saying is because you are not like me you are stupid.
This type of person is showing they are arrogant.
Take care!
haha yea i agree.. when they ask questions like this
i also consider myself stupid for answering, but its 2 points!
I could be flippant and say that a person who asks the question you just asked will often be regarded as 'stupid.' That would be politically incorrect of me, no?
The answer definitely DOES lie in the realm of political incorrectness. Nowadays, the term stupid is considered slightly taboo. In the past, IQ was one determinant of 'stupidity.' A 'moron' was someone with an IQ of under 70, someone like Forest Gump from the book and movie. An 'imbecile' was decidedly less intelligent say perhaps IQ of 30-50 and an 'idiot' was really a mental midget with an IQ 29 or below.
In truth, the simplest answer to your question may well be Forest Gump's operative description "stupid is as stupid does." Since Gump's actions were much smarter than many of Jenny's (addictive drug use and presumably needle sharing; involvement romantically with abusive men; unprotected promiscuous sex; joining political movements without any apparent interest in politics or the the movements themselves), we might actually conclude that Jenny was more stupid than Forest. However, that might be a stupid conclusion. Jenny's problems seem to be rooted in childhood sexual abuse and that's why it's so difficult to talk intelligently about stupidity. We all do stupid things under the influence of strong or persistently recurring emotions. However, the real interesting aspect of stupidity is that . . . .
People used to really disparage so-called Mongoloid Idiots since so few of them survived, they seemed ugly, and they were definitely stupid in those days. Things have changed markedly for describing all manners of 'stupidity.' "Special" is the key word now as in "Special Olympics." Some people don't think this approach is justified . . . .
However, a man named Glen Doman proved that 'stupidity' was NOT a primary characteristic of Mongoloidism but rather a severe bi-product of the Mongoloid's inability to process oxygen. The brain is the body's biggest user of oxygen! After Doman developed patterning techniques for parents of Mongoloids and insisted upon an early emphasis on aerobic conditioning, body building and brachiating: Mongoloids finally began to achieve a portion of their human birthright. Now several of Doman's proteges have reached IQs as high as 115 and some of them have become remarkable human beings (e.g. class valedictorian, etc.) proving that learning eternal patience and the value of consistently struggling hard toward a goal can overcome virtually any obstacle.
