I need information on ADD? Does anyone have their kids on pills& why?My son is a really good kid, he just has?

Question: a hard time focusing at school, don't listen and follow directions very well, not to be naughty he just seems like he can't take in everything being told to him. Also he talks to himself alot, wants to be alone alot, sensitive feelings, makes noises or repeats a saying that he thinks is funny over& over laughing and won't stop even after he is told to stop several times. The school thinks he has ADD but I'm scared to put him on any pills, any advice?? SERIOUS answers only!!!!

my stepson has ADD he was on meds but they made him like a zombie so he's no longer on them. talk with your doctor their was some vitamin supplements but we cant remember what they were so ask your doctor.

i was on zoloft for a while and then i forgot to take it for like a few wekks and then i was better without it. maybe that is the case. i am not a mother. i am only 12
