I am on both medications, and have been for several years. But it is under a doctors supervision. I never exceed what the doc. has prescribed for me. So, yes it can be done safely, but I wouldn't do it without a doctor's supervision.

Lorazepam is the generic form of Ativan. (Xanax, Klonipin, Valium).
Lexapro is an anti depressant with some anxiety relievers in it, and the Ativan is for anxiety.

Also, make sure you take the dosage assigned from your doctor. Either of these medications in high doses can be dangerous.
