Logic may not necessariy apply to it, if you think about some Mathemeticians and Scientists who are geniuses in their fields but have no common sense in day to day life.

Using common sense is the same thinking process, but you consult your knowledge about the things. This is a knowledge know as common sense, because it is wide spread to many people. In many ways is is also a form of logical thinking.

Good question. I think there is, but I'm not sure how I'd explain it. I think you could logically work out how to do something, but common sense might tell you that it can't be how it is. Haven't you ever worked out logically in your head how to do something, and then when you come to do it common sense kicks in and you see it's got to be done a different way.( I don't think that's quite what I wanted to say but it's close).

thinking logically is an imperative that is universal to all people. for example, thinking logically for most people is thinking morally.

i would closely link common sense with street values and cultural mores.

Logical thinking leads us to what we should ethically do, in all fairness. Commonsense logically leads us to what is convenient for us to do and it may not be all fair..

Yes - some mentally ill people take logic too far. Example: the Psychopath who wants to know about death and it's effects then goes out and kills someone. Very logical, but no common sense.

Conversely, logic might say that I might be earning the same on benefits, but common sense says that I should go to work.

Logic to me has nothing to do with morals, but common sense does. Logic might say that the world would be better without certain individuals, but it is common sense that wants to get them to stand trial rather than just go out and kill them.
