I hate being a human being. Does anyone else think it is embarrassing?

I'm serious. It is humiliating. Every so often I get hormone imbalances and I turn into an emotional depressed freak. I try to have mind control and be normal.but I'm like an emotional rollercoaster. That's why I hate being human.

I couldn't agree with you more. I provide customer service at a mortgage company via telephone and the way adults behave themselves is completely embarrassing and makes me ashamed to call myself a human being. They are so nasty, ignorant, can never admit an error on their part, are more concerned with placing blame on someone or something instead of resolving the problem, think they know every thing, won't listen to anything you say, have smart-a*s mouths for no reason (some of the responses to your question are a wonderful example of this), love making others feel bad about themselves, and just so selfish..I'm so glad I'm not the only one that feels the way you do. I actually said to my team lead the other day this job makes me ashamed of being a human being and has really effected my soul and outlook on life. And then the depression came..

I don't know if I'd say I'm embarrassed about being depressed..but it definitely makes me hate being human that much more because we are the only animal in the animal kingdom that gets DEEP into the vortex of depression.and I truly feel it's impossible to fully pull yourself out. Because every time you do..something else happens that puts you right back in it. Sometimes I look at my dog and wish I could be him.so forgiving, so loving, no strings attached, no knowledge of what a big piece of sh*t the world really is.but I'm cursed into being a human being. I ask myself why every single day.
