Your complexion is not important at all. Some black women are much more beautiful than the white. What you lack is not beauty but self confidence. Try to think about all the positive things you've got ( not that the colour of skin is negative). Please note that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Most guys I know care more about someone's personality rather than their looks.
If you are not happy with one of your features try a little make up. Make up can do wonders. Just don't let it be an obsession.

I am a Mexican American and I am very dark also. I used to feel like I was too dark and ugly also. But then I started to look deep inside myself. Instead, of looking on the outside. Black is Beautiful. And if boys won't talk to you then screw them. You don't need them. You need yourself and God. The perfect person will come along. Also, if you wear lighter makeup it looks better. Always wear nudes and clear lip gloss. Lighten your hair a little bit. I love my color now. Think of it this way, Some people pay to get tanned. We don't have too. We are naturally tanned all year round! Good luck.

Don't be crazy. Believe in things which r permanent in nature. The outlook what u r talking about is not permanent. Beauty is not the outer look. Beauty in inner heart of kind and loving to other. The best thing u can do is u love yourself first. first remove from your mind that u r black.
My dear god always give a bad at the same time give a very great thing to u so try to identify that and develop that. Don't bother about the stupid boys who run for outer look and even your stupid friends who r mean about the colour. Iam sure u get a guy who loves u from his heart and cares u very much. Wait for him. Till then don't worry. Just concentrate on your studies and forget that u r black.

Your skin color has nothing to do with this. You have low self esteem. Those guys are just creeps. You were born with your skin color, and you can't change it. Why should you want to.?
