Plane phobia.?

Question:
Okay, all my life, I've been moving and so far I've already been on over 10 planes, but each time was a nightmare (except for the first two/three 'cause I was so little)! And what's weird is that I always freak out before, but the last three times I took the plane, I was fine during the actual flight. But now, in about a month or so, I'm gonna have to to take a (1 hour) flight to the UK. please help with my freaking out! I know that, during the flight, I should keep myself busy with other stuff on my mind, but I still want help. to any real answers given, a big THANK YOU!! :)

Answers:
I have the same fear, and it seems you suffer from "anticipatory anxiety". Just think it's O.K. to have anticipatory anxiety, since you say you do fine on the airplane. Having a portable DVD player helps a lot, or an MP3 player or discman. Also crossword puzzles.
Check out this website, they have a free course for fearful flyiers:

Good luck and have a great trip!

Valium

Ask your doc for a sedative for the experience, he/she should understand, and it is not like you are asking for a bunch! You may want to take this natural formula called "Rescue Remedy" by Bach Flower Essence. It helps with panicking.

try this site.
it works.
my mom was afraid of flying, and she looked at this site.
she flew, and she loves it.
the thing that freaks me out about flying is like loosing cabin pressure, and having the face masks come down.
i dont watch the saftey videos in the beginning for that reason,
