I think you need to travel. You need to get away from everyone know you and the town you know and go somewhere new, reinvent yourself (or just discover who you are). I find that travelling always brings me great perspective and insight.. especially eastern Europe, it's just so radically different from North America.. Do some kind of exchange program where you can go work in another country for a year. that is kind of random advice but it just seems like you could use something like that. Bon courage!

My advice is to travel. Somewhere far away, like at least 500 miles. That will clear your head and give you some new experiences, and might even give you a new outlook on life. Good luck.
I think you just keep hangin' in and see where the tides take u. I've been in this situation before too, all your friends have gone their new ways and you think nothing's goin' right. But you learn that what you really need is just to find a few good email buddies, and they'll talk to you almost whenever you want them to! That's what I did! (Mine were girls though! LOL) (It's more fun that way!) Well you like to draw so explore that further. Maybe try something else like paint or glass blowing, you know some other art.
I'm in a similar situation. I don't have any friends around me, I just hang with myself pretty much. There's always hope, believe me I've been there. If you wanna talk to someone can always message me or e-mail me ;)
Go to school and use your talent. Share it with others. There are a lot of artistic people to meet and relate to in college. It's time to move on and find your passion. There are people like you.Go find them. In the mean time try to spread compassion and caring. to the less fortunate, neighbors,the homeless, the poor. Acts of random kindness tends to be rewarded in many positive ways. What you give is what you receive. Change you and others change. Don't get discouraged, the right people will come. Let them in. I believe in you.
Yes there is great hope for you. And may I say how wonderful you are for not wasting your life with the ones that are on drugs. You need to go to Art classes out of your school and museums and art gallery's. Do what you really enjoy and find there will be people that are interested in the things you are. Not pursing your talent as an artist would be a waste. You have to like YOU before anyone else likes you. No wonder you have no friends. You arent a friend to yourself. Know your self worth. The world will catch on to you soon enough.

I also am going through life, right now, feeling "what is it I am suppose to being doing?" "What comes tomorrow?" What should I do with my life? I so often look at the people around me thinking they have everything going for them, but the truth is I do too! I have hope in God, I have a life just waiting for me to dig in and live it to it's fullest. I may feel that my life is over, but the truth is my life is just beginning, and so is yours.
