Answers:
I wasn't able to find this journal and issue online, but I did find a press release from Rotman Research Institute in Toronto where the lead author of the study, Donald Stuss, once worked. It describes findings of follow-up studies (2000) to the one you mentioned that was published in 1998 that might answer your question. If you don't find the info you need in those papers, why not contact Dr. Stuss directly about any (possibly unpublished) findings with respect to speech and other outcomes? He's reachable c/o the University of Toronto and I hear he's quite approachable.

Good luck!

Teach him again pre-school level and move up according to his ability. Associate pictures with words (show fruit, say " apple").
