How can you quit a bad addiction to marijuana?

I did it. I smoked 10 times a day for 7 years and it was hard to quit. you have to really want to do it an expect sleepless nights and a lot of sweat and hacking up of resin. If I can do it anyone can!

Don't buy any-don't smoke any-Addictions are never easy-You have to want to quit. You don't get addicted to mary jane you become dependant on it but your body doesn't flip out if you don't get it like cigarrettes or other drugs. If you want to quit don't buy it anymore

If it is aa addiction that you feel is not with'in your control than seel a program fitting of your condition. There are various rehab programs that will help you regain control of this habit. Seek counseling or therapy also these programs will help better yourself not only by quitting your habit but with your future as well.

Go to jail for a few weeks, get put on probation and have weekly or monthly drug tests, that might make you quit because it is the harsh reality for a lot of drug addicts. It depends on how you are smoking it, The tobbaco in the spliff is much more addictive than the THC in the weed.So maybe cutting down on the nicotene is more of a problem.


dude I was scared to ask.lol I puffed a little of the magic dragon before.but now that I am living with my boyfriend it is way out of control, as weak and disgusting as that sounds ( as I bow my head in shame).it's freaking me out. I would say cut ties with those around you that do.as soon as I work up the courage I'll have to do the same.


WHY

Turn off the computer and the TV (and video games)
Drink lots of water.. lots of water.
MOVE as much as possible. Cut the grass, take a walk, run the dog around the park. WASH your car.
Take hot then cold showers back to back.. don't burn yourself. (This aggitates the chemicals in your muscles and fat to move them out of your body)
Take a class in Yoga.
Change friends (already suggested)
Go to college (get a degree)
Be prepared to go it for the long haul. It is worth it to be drug free. You do not want to miss one thing in this life because you were drugged or not at your full potential.
STAY AWAY from other addicting substances like nicotine or alcohol. Do not trade one addiction for another.


Don't put it your hand and it won't get in your body.And get to a meeting.ASAP!! Narcotics anoymous
