How can I get over my "anger" issues?


Question:
I've been told I have anger issues. Something happened in the past, and my mom didn't listen to me about it. Nobody did. Then I got in a lot of trouble. It was kind of a cry for help. Now, if somebody doesn't listen to me, or ignores me for just stupid things, I get so angry. If someone accuses me of something I didn't do, I get defensive right away. Instead of saying "No, I didn't do it" I get angry and defensive. Are there ways I can get over it without seeing a councelor?

There is a reason Jesus is called The Prince of Peace.. Salvation is a free gift of God. Certain things are guarenteed to come with salvation. one is peace of heart.. the ability to tolerate the world.. I know this is real, but you have to do some things also ,, You have to forgive. forgive your mom, and everyone else who has hurt you.. Vengence is mine, said the Lord, I will repay. It is not our job to get even. It is our job to lay all that rage at the feet of Jesus, and leave it there. .. Try me now, come on, let us reason together, said God, though your sins be as rotting blood, I will make you pure.

Try anger management. You HAVE to see a counselor to get over something like anger issues and whatever else is troublling you from your past. Face it. that's just the only way. Try counseling and if you don't like it. then you can look for other alternatives. Sometimes it takes going through several counselors before you find the right one.

You have to we all have issues and baggage,from the past.surrond your self with good people and allow your self to heal .hanging on to the past will bring nothing but pain.
when you get angry think of something funny or think of a fat person naked any thing that will make you laugh.when you feel angry or think negative just think no do not feel this way and it will work it might take awhile but it will work.

Yeah, you can find other avenues for your anger. A physical activity would be ideal because it releases endorphins in the body, a natural chemical known to make the body feel calm and at ease. I'm a short tempered person and I exercise to feel better and to keep from lashing out at people over trivial things. Anger is a guaranteed way to decrease your life span.
