You don't have a choice. You must go. If you were having heart pains...what would you do? If your blood sugar was making you start to pass out or if you couldn't breath, what would you do? Some people call an ambulance. That is what they are for! If you have feelings of suicide or homicide, then you would be a possible danger to you child...it would be selfish not to go. Don't lie to yourself, it is like diabetes: if you ignore it it only gets worse. If you deal with it you can get it all back under control. If you put it off that is bad because it gets worse. Things don't go away if you just stick your head up under the rug. By the way they will not take your children away from you for having wrong thoughts. Only if you act on them. I had this problem after my last child, and I too put it off. I ended up suffering 3 times longer than I would have had I gone in in the beginning. When you get the meds, they usually tell you to take them a year. DO what they say or it will backfire. I did this too!...I didn't listen because I was doing so well and ended up more depressed than ever, only each time it comes back, it comes back stronger. Stop making excuses. What is wrong with taking a taxi? Don't make up excuses now...get up and do what you need to do! And for gosh sakes...don't wait untill you feel like it or you will never go. you will feel bad on the way there and relieved on the way home...I promise! If you can't shake your fear well then: DO IT AFRAID!!!! It will get better for you only when you take a step forward, and I have faith in you that you will. May God be with you.
You need to go see your doctor and get an rx of Xanax. You'll snap right out of it.
