I'm not sure what polemic digestion is, but bulimia is a self inflicted eating disorder. It's not like anorexia where you don't eat, but you binge (eat a lot) and then purge (throw it up).
here's a book i found at the library book sale recently. it's called the secret language of eating disorders by peggy claude pierre NO. NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. BULIMIA IS A DISTORTION IN THE PERCEPTION OF THE BODY IMAGE.
