Would there be a cure for mental illness in the future?

Question: I got schizoaffective disorder, my doctor prescirbed me antipsychotic drug and anti-anxiety drug and a antidepressant to control my head. I'm seriously thought blocked here in Taiwan(thought disorder). I want to know how the future goes in the field of psychiatry, would there be a cure for them?

There are already workable remedies,I mean medications treating mental illnesses.If you imply better one,with lowered level of side effects and with a more fast impact I hope so.All the pharmaceutical companies all over the world are probing new drugs,that I can tell you with certainty!!Luck!and don't forget to take your medications.
