Has or does anyone suffer from TRICHOTILLOMANI.
Question:
Answers:
i do. i pulled out my hair at 18 months. it went away until about sixth grade, and i am mostly beating it now. i only pull hair from my head, and i search for the thick, dark hairs. and then i twist it up, knot it, and throw it on the ground. my hair has gradually become darker and thicker, now that i stopped pulling a lot. my trichs don't happen often now, just when i get extremely stressed, bored, or angry. and, surprisingly, i found two other people in my school who have it, so i have been able to talk about it with them. with the help of each other and other friends, we have all basically beat it. every time i feel a trich coming on, i busy myself with something else, or sit on my hands. i hope this helps and you beat trichotillomania yourself! oh, and, happy fourth, to you.

My 16 year old daughter has had it for about eight years now. She only pulls her eyebrows and then only if severely stressed.
maybe but i don't know what it is. My brother has had this most of his life. ( He's 41 now)He is taking some really good medicine that prevents him from doing it though. He is relieved that he finally found something that really works because he always had big bald patches of hair before.
