Believing in yourself, not too sound "nice" I know someone who was an all sorts of medications to go to sleep, until he convince himself he did not need all those pills, so he started to minimize his dose, it works, and he cannot believe it!

When treatment with hypontic medication is indicated, the physician and the patient should both be clear that the treatment is of short duration and that some symptoms, including a brief recurrence of the insommia, may be expected when the medication is discontinued.

When you lay down in your bed. Try and condition your mind that you went to bed only to go to sleep. (Or perhaps have sex).

Your primary concern is to shut down your brain and think about nothing other then sleeping. If you let your brain continue to run like your computer you will never get to sleep.

No actual cure.but making a regular bedtime for every night can help (such as always going to bed at 10:00). And you can get sleeping pills but they are very addictive so I wouldn't recommend them.
A good nap always works.

I am not sure that there is a cure (sorry). But as hard as it is try things like a warm bath and hot drink before bed. Hope you find a cure soon. Take care.
