what is terminal anxiety?

Question: when my mother was dying she would act as though she wanted to get out of bed. buti was ashured by doctors that this was not the case that she had"terminal anxiety. I want to know if this is a concious thingshe was doing.

she suffered probably from confusion and delirium,and anxiety could happen in this state,they meant terminal illness anxiety that occur prior to death.
