Effexor XR and tiredness and weight gain?

Question:

Does anyone take effexor xr and get spells of being tired throughout the day? I take 225 mgs all at once and i have been taking for several months. I also have no sex drive at all. I also take 1 mg of Klonopin at bedtime so maybe that's making me tired also. I have also gained around 18 pounds and i'm having a hard time losing the weight. Can you lose weight while taking Effexor, does it change your metabolism? My doctor said no but i've read other stories from people that say it made them gain weight. It's all so confusing. I hate taking medication but it beats the alternative of being in the dark hole i was in before.

I WAS ONLY ON 150 XR LONG AGO. I THINK EFFEXOR WAS A GOOD MEDICINE BUT I WAS SICK OF IT MADE ME DIZZY NAUSEA AND FAT I TOLD MY DOC TO STOP IT SLOWLY I STOPPED IT ON 37.5 XR

effexor is not associated with weight gain but the klonapin is. and yes it will make you sleepy it is a nerve pill and for panic attacts. lol
