How do I learn how to chill out from the stress in my life?
Question:
Answers:
Haha, with a boyfriend, college, work, and every other thing in your life, of course you are going to be stressed. That's just life for you. I think maybe to be less stressful youself is to realise that through your entire life, you will have to face a lot of it. I don't think to be an average, healthy person there is anyway you can eliminate ALL stress in your life. Instead you have to learn how to deal with it. Try doing just the simple things that you enjoy doing more often. Try to relax and take breaks even for just a short while.
Also, remember, we're all in this together. I've had some really bad luck and fucked up times in my life so far, but you gotta learn to move on and get passed those things. Gotta remember there are people much worse off than you and I. Be thankful for what you have. you have a boyfriend, you're going to be graduating college, you have a job, I mean, you already sound like you have a decent life. ;p

ALSO PRAISE JESUS! 1. Eat healthy and exercise. What does that have to do with anything, you ask? People who are busy and stressed all the time tend to have bad eating habits: i.e. drinking too much caffeine, eating fast food or skipping meals, using sugary snacks to give them an energy boost, etc. This causes wild fluctuations in your blood sugar and can affect your mood, making you short-tempered and cranky. And exercise helps you work off pent-up frustrations and relax.
2. Take time out from your busy schedule to relax and enjoy life with your boyfriend. Take a vacation. Or just spend a day at the park, at the beach, at a museum, whatever you like. You deserve to treat yourself.
3. If all else fails, get therapy. Check out (http://www.reducingstress.net ) there is a lot of great articles and expert advice on the subject there.
