What to do about attention deficit disorder?

Question:
I have a chronic attention deficit problem. I cannot concentrate for more than a few seconds. I cannot remember what I did a few hours ago. Today I day dreamed through my train station and ended up further than I intended to go. If I drive somewhere I cannot remember how I got there. I forget everything. I walk out of meetings and I cannot remember what was said. It's beginning to seriously impede my career. Is there anything that can be done about this?

Our son always said he had it because in school he couldn't concentrate, or remember, in his third year in college his friend was diagnosed with add, so he went and he was diagnosed also, his doctor prescribed aderol, and he said it was as if someone turned on a light bulb in his head, he said his mind stopped wondering and he could remember everything ,he wasn't tired all the time and he could sleep at night, hope this helps, sounds like you should see a specialist like my son did.
