Do you ever feel emotionally numb when you take anti-depressants?

Question: I tend to have recurring depression, and I started taking Effexor XR a week ago. My symptoms have begun to improve, but I find that my emotions (both positive and negative) aren't as intense as they used to be. Has anyone else here had similar experiences?

Thats to bad you are not feeling even the good emotions because I thought you had the best post to my question and looked you up. You work in a health food store which is really groovy. You think well. You also seem like someone that would be nice to get to know.
Sorry I'm not saying much about synaptic nerve gaps, neurotransmitters, limbic / endocrine systems and such that your question was about. That will be/ is answered in the other posts here I'm sure.
