How much rest should one get everyday when they sleep?

I think I’m a bit different if I oversleep like more then 9 hours I feel a little restless the whole day…but if I just have like 6 or 7 hours of sleep. I feel more energized and fresh for the whole day. strange! :)

Most studies say anywhere from 7-8 hours per night, although I need considerably more. I think it really depends on your body. they say eight hours but not many get that.

What is more important that time quantity, is quality and ability to have uninterupted REM /dreaming sleep. I'm more than good on 6 hours of REM sleep/day.
