lithium.?
Question:
Answers:
Lithium can take about 1-2 weeks to fully set in. If you are truly feeling like you are going crazy (been there myself) ask your doctor about putting you on antipsychotic medications for a while. It will help to calm you down and some are even approved for bipolar disorder, such as Clozaril, Zyprexa, Risperdal, Seroquel, and Geodon. You could also try asking for an anti-anxiety medication to help you out. Know also, that doctors try to start you off on the lowest dose possible, so it might take a little time before you get on the dose that is correct for you. And even then, Lithium doesn't work in everyone. You have to be vigilent and read up on things and talk with your doctor to make sure you are doing the best for you. Good luck.
