it's undesirable if one considers the complex negative. i think it is desirable to weave together many aspects of the inner self, just loosely and enough to be aware of them. i also believe it is desirable to weave the inner self with the environment around ourselves, or to recognize there is a relationship between the two and be an active participant in it. to realize that we each are a very important part of something greater and outside of ourselves.
