Most likely you are too nervous or worked up to sleep right now. However, the old wives tail of milk or warm milk may be helpful. Milk has what is known as tryptophane in it which causes drowsiness. This is the same reason people get tired after eating turkey- it's loaded with trytophane. For the future you might want to try melatonin, 1-3 mg. It's a natural chemical found in the brain and for some people (I swear by it) it will cause you to sleep. You might also try progressive relaxation. Start at the top of your head by tensing muscles in your face and then releasing them. Do this to you whole body, tense the muscles then relax them until you get down to your toes. Warm baths sometimes work too. Good luck!
