You might need to see a doctor or counselor. It's not something to be ashamed of. A lot of people deal with anxiety attacks/depression, and it doesn't make you weak. At all. I really hope you get things worked out soon. I'll be praying for you. God bless.
see a doctor...or a psychologist...or psychiatrist. this is a serious condition that needs to be observed and maybe treated with medication.
go to see psychologist or religious persons
I use to feel like that a lot. Has something happened that has hurt you?
Probably hormones. And as far as getting mad and losing it. Try taking some B complex vitamins and some C They are good for stress and mood swings. Try the nature made kind. And just find a way to let out that anger in a good way. Like sports or taking a walk.
Seventeen is a very tough age. Not quite an adult but not a child anymore. It's difficult to know where you fit in to the grand scheme of things. Be patient and things will get better. You'll discover your family is more important to you than you think that they are right now.
If you feel like you need help, then you should get some. Only you can know your true thoughts and feelings. The suicidal and sad feelings may be an imbalance in the chemicals in your brain. Only a physician diagnose you or refer you to a psychiatrist. Better to get help now while you can rather than wait until you're not in a place to want help.
That is common behavior for a 17 year old but if you are having suicidal thoughts then you need to talk to someone like a school counselor.
i hate to sound cliche, but a lot of it has to do with your age. i remember going through a lot when i was 17 too. your body, your mind, the pressure at school, with friends, with family. me and my dad has some pretty big arguements and i had some pretty crazy thoughts.
it probably is best to find some counseling, but if that's uncomfortable for you, try to find an outlet...something that calms you and gets your mind away from other things. mine were my friends and my writing. i write songs, short stories and poetry. but for you it could be working out, learning to play an instrument, reading, taking karate or dance lessons. but i'm sure it wouldn't hurt to find a professional to talk to and find out where all your sadness is coming from.
Just listen to your heart, its normally right.....
Check with your local health clinic and see if you can get a referral to a psychiatrist. The cool thing about a 'psych' is that they can give you the mental and emotional tools to not only discover what is causing your distress, but be able to find ways to deal with it.
While you are at it, pay attention to when these bouts happen... Do they have a cycle? If so, you may be having hormonal issues. In that case, your family doctor could be of help.
It does seem strange that you are able to control it with your friends... Anger management might be a good thing to look into as well.
Good luck to you!
See a psychologist. Could be bipolar. You're at the right age for it to start showing up.
You don't know one thing about the body aura and how it can be manipulated by the group. Depression is all about friends and family. Get one new friend and be safe until you can learn more. Your only hope now is to get away for a while.
