If a person's IQ is outside average (<70, or, >130) he or she is abnormal?

Question:
ss

Answers:
My IQ is 148. Yes, I am not in the "normal" range, but I am still a "normal" human. IQ is not how smart you are, IQ is your ability to learn new things, and then retain them. For instance, I was putting brake fluid in the power steering fluid! As for street smarts..forget it. I am totally lost. Different people are smarter in different areas. I wouldn't worry too much about IQ. It's just a number.

Other Answers:
i have over 130. i'm pretty abnormal. but that's just me lol.

U usually say <70.,, dumb. N they need attention. But there are no problems if the IQ is >130. My friend has IQ 150, and he's fine. If a person has IQ >130 they will likely run away to join the circus.
If the IQ is<70 that person is probably already a member of a performing family

what is "normal"? No they are not abnormal --- just dumb, or blond

I wouldn't say abnormal. I don't like the word "abnormal." They are definitely very below and very above average.
Both are 2 standard deviations above the mean. An IQ under 70 meets the requirement for mental retardation (not dumb, d_akota2004). An IQ above 130 is either Superior or Very Superior.
