Am I a pathological liar...?

Question:
I think I am. In fact, I know I am. I'm a pathological liar. I have those internet problems, I can't stop lying to my teachers- like, when they ask: "Is there a problem with your arm?" A lot of times, my arm hurts, and I always say no. I lie to my parents- I sometimes lie to my friends online, because I'm... well, I don't know. I don't know what to do. Everytime I lie- I'm sinning. Lying in sinful, and I want to stop. What do I do?

Answers:
I don't know you so I don't know that you are a pathological liar. And I wouldn't be convincing yourself of that quite yet. There is a difference between a pathological liar and a compulsive liar. Pathological liars are usually killers and what not, and that's why I say to not call yourself that quite yet. You can find the defintion of both a pathological liar and a compulsive liar on the internet at something like google and you can even read articles about both. After you've read some articles about those types of liars and you are still convinced that you are a pathological liar then you should tell your parents and tell them you need to see a therapist and he/she can help you determine why you lie so much. They'll help you find the underlying issues so you can stop lying..If you don't have supportive parents like that or you don't want to talk to them to your best friends mom, school counselor, trusted teacher. Just tell someone so you can get help. I'm proud of you for admitting you have a problem and that way it will be easier to fix. But get help as soon as you can. You don't want to lie the rest of your life.
Close your mouth. Think before you speak and make an effort to stop lying.
