i need a wilderness or boot camp in north carolina for trouble girls?

Question: a friend of mine has a daughter that she just got back and she is cutting herself and steal and lieing her mother has tried to get her help and she is playing the system and lieing to everyone we don't know what to do with her we need help before she does kill herself or before she hurts herself we have been watching her like a hawk my friend took her to work with her yesterday and the kids stole some pills from her mother client and her mother found the pills in her pocket and then the kid was lieing to me trying to tell me she didn't take them and she did we don't know what to do we love her and don't want nothing bad to happen to her please help me find her some help

Contact the Sheriff's Department. A lot of them offer youth camps and other services.

Her mom should put an end to any privileges. Even her job if that's what it takes. I worked at a group home in NC that takes private placements, but from experience, the private placements (as opposed to DSS) looked at it like summer camp. Maybe her mom should keep her from spending time with her friends, get her in to a mental health program, and try to work at it at home before shipping her off.
I can't recommend a single one, because the results are not as good as anyone could hope for, and there is great potential for more harm than good to come to this girl in one of those institutes.
