DID refers to Disassociative Disorder, formerly known as Multiple Personalities. It is almost guaranteed that persons having this diagnosis have undergone some form of sexual abuse.
If you are of Christian religion, you may want to look into a form of therapy known as "Theophostic Counseling". It has proven highly effective at re-integrating the different personalities.
