Lithium has a half life of 24 hours. In other words, within that period of time, 1/2 of it will be out of your system. As far as completely, I wouldn't seem to think (but am not sure) it would take too much longer than 48-72 hours. It would a good idea to check with your psychiatrist. They are always the best source for your medication questions!!
