How can I stop worrying about everything?
Question:
Answers:
Helping yourself stop worrying involves a combination of challenging the worrisome thoughts and calming yourself physically and emotionally.
Steps:
1. Write down what you are worried about in a journal.
2. Think about how you would handle your worst-case scenarios.
3. Take action on what you can change or have some control over that could reduce your worrying.
4. Look over the worrisome thoughts that you feel you can't take any action on.
5. Take each of these worrisome thoughts and write down an alternative thought that is more realistic, as a believable challenge to the worry.
6. Try to catch yourself when you notice yourself worrying. Stop and tell yourself the alternative thought.
7. Practice relaxation and stress-reduction techniques. A simple thing you can do to help quiet your mind and calm your emotions and body is to breathe in slowly to the count of six and breathe out slowly to the count of six. Do this for 5 minutes; gradually increase to 20 minutes over time.

There's this philosophy. if you keep clenching your fists and refusing to let go of all the cares in the world, you actually gain nothing.cos you are clenching your fists so tightly that you grasp nothing.but if you spread out your fingers and open up, you will gain the world.take care.
The easy answer is : Don't think.
The not so easy answer is: Start counting your blessing. Even bad things have good things in them if you're positive. Think about it this way, if a bad thing's gonna happend, tell youself,"Bring it on." If you could survive the bad things, the little details should be easier. How bad could it be? whatever will be, will be. For me, I find it easier not to worry cause I believe everything's gonna be alright, to have faith. Good luck. I've had the same problem my whole life. I went through a real rough patch and found a lot of relief through antidepressants. I did see a therapist who was specialized in cognitive therapy and she helped me retrain my brain. It's funny that you say "Just Stop" because that is one of the things I tell myself to calm down. At first I'd say it like a hundred times a day now only a few. Find a professional in your area.
