i think humans are just kinda.'programmed' into a set way of being- the whole point in life is to reproduce and make new life. unfortunately not being asexual, this means we need a partner. i think its just kinda in our make up to want to find a mate. even though now times have changed opinions on whether we personally want a partner. kinda like how spiders are programmed to make webs and eat flies, how fish are programmed to swim. i make everything sound like robots, you get the jist lol.
a life in solitude would be lonely as hell, and personally i dont understand people who dont really want kids, what then was the purpose in your life? who will remember you? eventually after generations you'll be forgotten anwyay, but i think its nice for your memory to live on a little longer than your body..
im sure theres people out there who are quite content on their own
