Is there anyone who can't wait to move out of their parent's house? Why?

Question:

Answers:
I can't wait. Not because I don't love my parents, I do, I just want to be able to do things my way. I have difficulty doing things I want and being successful when asking people for favors. If I'm on my own, I won't have to. Also, I've been living here long enough, I need to have my own life.

Other Answers:
I can definitely wait! I may sound like a moocher but it is really nice not to have to pay the bills. lol Besides, my parents don't want me to move out yet.

ME!!
Because I'm excited about living on my own and I can do whatever I want without their rules [cuz they don't let me do anything] and I want to start my life

my step-dad = a**hole I can wait. I'm 21 and I'm happy living at home. I get along great with my parents and brother. I'm working going, going to school, and I do buy my own groceries and others.

I mean kids are so eager to leave home right after high school and I'm like you want to pay bills, struggle with school because you will have to work to pay for your place of living. Struggling to survive when I don't have to does not seem fun.

well i know i am ready to get out of my parents house. my parents don't treat me bad or anything lol its just that they are so overbearing and since i live in the south, they are always trying to force religion on me. so i've decided that the summer after i graduate, im moving to europe for college :D I am! I left home a few years ago to go to college, but then ended up coming back when I transferred to a school near where I grew up. I've been living at home for three years and going to school (moving out in September!). In some ways it's nice, because I've had the opportunity to work only a few hours at my school, spend time on my homework, and come home at night and not have to make dinner, but it is also not ideal because.well, I'm living with my parents. I love them, and I get along with them, but I want more freedom and more independence than I currently have.

To people who don't want to move out of their parents' house: what the hell is wrong with you?

If you ever lived away from your parents, for even a week, you would never want to return. Getting dinner made for you is great. Not having to pay rent (or too much rent, as the case may be) is great. Being secure in your own comfort zone is great. But you know what's better? Making your own dinner, paying your own bills, and stepping out of your comfort zone. It's an experience that teaches you so much about yourself an who you are, and you grow up so fast when you are away from your parents. I don't understand why so many people my age don't want the independence, don't want the experience, don't want to take the leap to become full adults. I hope all you people who don't want to move out know you're giving everyone under the age of 22 a reputation for being lazy, and for not wanting to accept the responsibilities that come with adulthood, and it reflects badly on all of us, so please, move out of your parents' houses and experience life! ME!

How long do you want me to be dependent? Stay at home as long as you can. Your loving parents are keeping a roof over your head and food on the table. If you're really lucky, they are clothing you, and paying for your DirecTV.

The only thing that you have to do is respect their rules.

You have a very long time to be on your own. Once you are, it's HARD to go back to Mom and Dad.
