enjoy it because when your hubby leaves you and he is not there you wounder why you picked on such a simple thing like this when in the end after 9 yrs have gone bye you will miss his humming..

Come on, now. If this is your biggest complaint, you should be very happy. Some women who have husbands who curse them and beat them would change places with you in a minute. There are drunks, gamblers, druggies and assorted monsters out there. You got a guy who hums. Lucky you. put on headphones

I think it is really a control thing.. I catch myself Hummmmmmmmming all of the time. It is usually when I am alone. For me, it is sign of happiness. However, one day a couple of years ago, one of my grouchy clients said, "STOP THAT NOISE''.!!
My client now, is not so far gone that, she knows when I am humming off key.., and her smile gives it away.Maybe for your husband it is a vibrational thing that keeps him in tune with the Universe. Multiverse?

I am SOOOOOOOO relieved to hear that I am not the only one who gets irritated with their humming hubby.
