I would suggest seeing a psychiatrist. this could be a major problem.. and it could well get worse.. but if you don't want to do that, then try hitting something cushioned.. it would do less damage although any kind of force would do some damage. and try to avoid situations which bring on the anger. I know it's not that easy but if you know that a situation could get worse, then walk away.. it's ok to step down once in a while. you'll feel better for yourself..

Maybe you are bashing your head because you don't want to think about anything. You are not the only one to do this to yourself so don't take offense of what others say to you. You might wanna pick up a hobbie or punch a pillow. Even try getting a punching bag so when you get angry, you wont hurt yourself.

For example try taking up a sport to help you control your anger and get your aggression out like karate, kick boxing, tia chi or yoga. I did.At first I took tae kwon do (a form of karate), then I've gone to the safer one such as tia chi and yoga. But I had to wean my way down. There is a better way.

You can change this. Also your life can be better if you want it to. Bad things in life are teaching us a lesson. Every bad thing. The lesson is making a decision to make something good. Bad things aren't really bad, there simply events. What makes it make is when you decide it to be bad. Most people don't realize this. You want to be loved, you want to be accepted, you want to be happy. Try to be loving and happy. Love everything in the world. When something you bad happens instead of hurting yourself, realize it isn't bad and find the good things out of it. Every even has good things you can find from it. Be a master of your life, not a victim. Many people will disagree with what I'm trying to say, but if you think deap down, you will know it's true.

Try to discover the source of your anger. Relax, take a hot shower. If you have bicycle, ride around the block for a few minutes, or, walk around the block. Try to do something is calming. Get a sheet of paper and write down what issues cause you to become angry. Whenever you feel angry, write down what is happening.
Listen to soft music, classical is relaxing. If you don't have classical music at home, tune your radio to a classical music station.
