I need help with diagnosing my mom?
Question:
Answers:
The only people who can explain it are medical or psychological professionals.
There are several reasons possible that I can think of, although I am by no means qualified to make a complete diagnosis.
It could be that she had a small stroke. Not enough to paralyze her, and all of that, but enough to twist her personality.
Possibly, she is having challenges with her blood sugar.
Has there been a servere stress in her life recently?
Was there one in her past that she supressed and is now letting out?
Please, please, please, please get her checked out.

Sounds like she finally grew a spine and decided that she didn't want to be a doormat anymore. Maybe you should give her some space. Plus, she could be having menopausal symptoms like rage against people in her life who are not really the cause of her feelings. Women in menopause often have rage that seems to have no cause.
Hi,
You did not say how old she is, could it be change of life? It could be depression.
Good luck hope you can figure it out and get her help, so things can get better for the family, I dont have a mom, I lost her when I was a teen.
It depends on how old she is.She might be going thru menopause.Which is difficult on it's own but It can make some women really crazy due to hormones or I have heard this happen with people that were diagnosed with early Alzheimer's you might want to talk to a doctor.Good Luck.
First of all - I'm living proof that even your kids don't always know what kind of relationship you truly have with your spouse. No one knows but the two of you.
I'm wondering if maybe she has done something for which she feels guilty. Sometimes, rather than admit our guilt and ask forgiveness, we get angry at ourselves and it spills over on those around us. It's gone so far now that its easier for her to stay angry than to try and make things right.
Tell her you love her, show her you love her. I'm assuming she was always there for you - even when you were unlovable. Do the same for her. If she doesn't feel you're judging her or angry with her then she might actually be able to open up to you.
Well know her age might help. Menopause could be a factor, it hits some woman much harder then others. Look into it here is one website that might hekp you. http://www.vivelledot.com/Consumer/NewsletterSignUp.aspx
