Do you think sex addition is a real addiction?

Question:
I've heard that it really is a problem, and I"m really curious what people think of it. Is it really and addiction, or just peoples inability to control themselves?

Answers:
Sexual addiction is real and falls in the same line with other addictions including drugs. It's merely teh mind's over riding more important aspects of life for the feeling it gets from the stimulus - in this case sex.

It is not the sex which is to blame, but the make up of the person involved. Obsessive types and addictive personalities are most susceptible to this type of addiction.

Other Answers:
Not a problem I would report, as long as I had a faithful, steady partner with the same affliction. (Blonde preferred.)

Not sure, but I'm up for it! I think it is a real addiction, just like drugs or alcohol.

Yes, it is a real addiction. Everybody has effective and ineffective coping mechanisms to deal with the stress and problems of daily life, unfortunately, sex is just another coping mechanisms and can be just as addictive and destructive as any other coping mechanism.

It is a real addiction that's a fact, anyone who thinks they are addicted to sex needs to go for counseling
