How much does Risperdal 0.5 mg generally cost in the USA (Wal-mart Pharmacy)?

Question: My doctor is trying me on Risperdal 0.5 mg as an augmentation to my antidepressant celexa. He gave me samples, and so far, it is doing wonders. I was severely depressed but now I'm laughing and smiling again in less than a week. I'm afraid I may not be laughing though when I see the price. What does it run?

It's expensive, I know that. It's something like $323.68 without insurance. (Last figure I rememeber being told to me by my pshychiatrist in CO).

Do you have any insurance at all? Risperdal can be great if it works for you. But I'm not sure how much it costs without insurance. You need to call up your pharmacy and ask them directly how much your prescription will be. It also will depend on the quantity of the drug your doctor is prescribing.

Very Expensive,,, With excellent Insurance - I pay almost $70 for it for my daughter.. You wont be laughing when you see the price, you;ll be wondering where you can pony up an organ to pay for it.. ha ha I just want to say that I'm very glad you're feeling better.
