I have had panic attacks for almost 13 years now , how do you get rid of them ? any tricks ? thank you?

You need to try and avoid situations that trigger these attacks. I used to have these too when I was younger and I eventually out-grew them. Good luck!

What is your trigger that causes this? Face the challenge with someone who will not make fun of you as often as possible. If you panic in crowds, take a bus ride with a friend. If it is finances, start a business etc
I have helped a few friends during my school days it is really up to you and how you perceive the phenomena. Someone gracing you with pills may just want to thin your checking account.

!! the mistake in what u're doing is: u try to trick them into going away
instead of getting a firm grip of them and holding them down!.
therapy's not working because u have to make them go away on ur own... therapy can only do so much...(help not solve the issue; better to help oneself, and cheaper for that matter_
so... get a firm grip, make urself stronger...- it's the only way.
I have had problems with panic attacks too. I almost never have them anymore. I take a daily antidepressant and I exercise regularly. I believe these things help. Also speaking with a good therapist is a great idea. Sometimes there are unhealthy things in our lives that we need to change. For me it was an abusive husband. Divorce was hard, but necessary. It took me years to figure that out.
When you feel an attack coming on and that nervous feeling starts in your stomach, start exercising immediately. Do a really strenuous workout. That is how I kept my attacks at bay.
Also I believe in prayer and that God can heal anything. Ask Him what He wants you to learn from this and ask Him to heal you!

I take meds too but the best help has been knowing when my moods are starting to change, like feeling adjetated for no reason or starting to sweat...that is when I excuse myself and hit the nearest exit just to breath for a bit. I avoid crowds as much as possible and listen to my body and feelings as much as I can. I take care of MY needs...to hell with the rest. It works for me because I have learned that they will NEVER completely go away.

well i have bad anxiety too for like 3yrs now...i use to get like 3panic attacks a day.. it felt like death was comin to get me...i havent had a full blown one in a while....i can tell when im about to get one....u jus have to realize the feeling r uncomfortable, but they cant hurt u. when u feel one coming on, force ur self to do somethin else. breathe deep n slowly....u brain is use to the same pattern.....u have too say its jus a panic attack, it no big deal and it wont hurt me.......
