which pill works best for you?

Question:
Zoloft? Paxil, Valium, Xanex, Prozac, Buspar, Klonapin. Seriously- which one is best? Do any of them work?

Answers:
I have anxiety and take Xanax when I believe the anxiety will be too much for me to handle. I force myself to face my anxiety because i don't want to depend on a drug and xanax is highly additive. So i treat the drug with respect so to speak. I was on Paxil and it worked very well besides the side effect of weight gain. Once i stopped taking Paxil the weight came off. I didn't have to do anything to lose the weight besides stop taking the pill. By the time i stopped taking the pill i made great strides in therapy to get through my depression and now work on the anxiety. I had a bad side effects with Zoloft. Each persons body chemistry is different so it is a good idea to find one that works best for the individual. I also recommend working with a therapist, if at all possible, combined with medication. When taking medication alone i believe it doesn't fix the problem it just masks it.

Zoloft, Paxil. Prozac, Buspar are for depression.
Klonapin, Valium, Xanex can be used for depresssion, but more as a relaxant.

Lexapro was best thing to for me. They had to up my dose after a month but otherwise it was great and had very little side effects. Took Klonopin for about two months. Couldn't take it in the daytime because it knocked me out. I used it for a sleeping pill before my NP took me off it.
