can adhd in adults be the cause of headaches?

Question:
can adhd in adults be the cause of headaches if adhd isnt treated?

Answers:
Anything that distracts your attention creates the deficit. Your headache could be caused by the fact your brain is having trouble processing information coming at it. Seriously, noisey crowds, reading ect., are signs of dyslexia. A good evaluation by a psychologist would be more definitive.

Other Answers:
I don't think the head aches come from ADHD,but probably from the stimulant drugs used to treat it.
Headaches can be a symptom of numerous things, anything from dehydration, to eye strain to a variety of other illnesses.
ADHD is the inability to focus your attention on a task.
Don't get me started on this cop out disease. You do not have ADD or ADHD. There is no such thing. There is no fibromygia either. You get this label for a lot of reasons.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO your headaches are not caused by this.

To determine what is causing your headaches you need to see your doctor. It could be tension, (depending on where the pain is) you could need glasses or stronger glasses. It could be million things, but it is not ADHD.
I don't think that ADHD causes headaches, but I agree with other answerers that suggest that it might respond to certain situations that make headaches more likely. I have ADHD and I know that I don't care for loud music, which I suppose might give anyone headaches, but even regular noise levels that I'm trying to screen out cause problems. I think that perhaps not going to bed at a proper time, more likely because of the disorder, could be a contributing factor. (Indeed, maybe I need to go to bed after answering this question!)

By the way, ADHD is a real disorder, and anyone that says otherwise doesn't know the biochemistry, which is visible in CAT scans, behind it. I know, it's a tangent, but the last answer just annoyed me.
